Members of the PICPA’s Greater Philadelphia Chapter taught financial concepts to third- and fifth-grade students on May 11 at Prince Hall Elementary School in Philadelphia, courtesy of Junior Achievement’s “JA in a Day” program.
The volunteers taught the students how their financial decisions not only make an impact on themselves, but also on their city, region, and nation.
This year’s program generated media coverage from
KYW Newsradio and from
6abc and CBS Philly. Shekeria Chisolm, Pukhama Demosthenes, Katrina Fisher, David LaRosa, and Lori Pietzsch-Clark will present to fourth-grade students at Prince Hall on May 23.
