Twenty members of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter, with the help of eight interns from Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP, taught an interactive financial literacy program to nearly 250 inner-city high school students on July 19 at Thomas Jefferson University. The students were interning with the Philadelphia Youth Network’s (PYN) WorkReady summer jobs program.
The WorkReady interns were taught how to identify and write financial goals, fix an overspent budget, and build a budget of their own that they can use for the summer. Check out photos from this year's program below. There is also this KYW Newsradio clip
