Main Line Accounting Honored for Greater Philly Philanthropy

Main Line Accounting, a public accounting firm based in Wayne, Pa., was honored as part of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2018 Faces of Philanthropy program on April 12, 2018. The firm received this distinction for its support of Philadelphia Youth Basketball (PYB), an organization that helps create opportunities for young people to reach their potential as students, athletes, and positive leaders. Main Line donated money to the organization in honor of its clients in addition to providing its clients with gifts that helped promote PYB and its mission as part of Main Line’s annual holiday gifting program in late 2017. Main Line Accounting’s president, Erin Friday, CPA, also serves on the board for PYB.

In addition to its work with Philadelphia Youth Basketball, the firm also volunteers and provides support to Shooting Touch, an organization “that uses the power of basketball to deliver global health education, intervention, and empowerment to at-risk youth, women, and their families.” Erin Friday, CPA, Main Line’s president, visited Rwanda and participated in this program that operates in Boston as well.

From its inception in 2007, Main Line has contributed to Toys for Tots, Bringing Hope Home, The Goodlands, and many other philanthropic causes.
