PRESS RELEASE

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“PICPA”), through the Pennsylvania CPA Foundation, is proud to announce it has filled up its Accounting Career Day initiative for the Fall. Over the next 3 weeks, hundreds of high school students from across the state will attend fun, informative and free educational events at Duquesne University, Penn State University, King’s College and Villanova University to learn more about the accounting profession and pursuing a degree in accounting.

Students will also hear from current Accounting majors about their journey through college and key insights for applying to college.

“We look forward to engaging with young, aspiring accounting professionals, as we believe that early exposure to the profession through events like our Accounting Career Days, can truly help them understand the value and impact they can make on their communities through our profession,” says Jennifer Cryder, CEO of the PICPA. “This collaboration between educators, leading professionals and college students is critical to help foster and inspire the next generation of CPAs."
