Jen Cryder, CPA
Jen Cryder currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Temple University and a master’s degree (Business Administration, Taxation) from Drexel University. Jen joined the PICPA as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, and was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer before being named CEO in 2021. She is the first female CEO of the PICPA in the history of the organization and is dedicated to leading as a strategic partner in navigating the future of accounting and finance, always keeping member value in the forefront of her decision making. Jen is a thought leader in the accounting space and her insights represent the current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the industry. She has participated in interviews for various media outlets, been a guest on some of the top accounting podcasts, and posts informative and thought-provoking blogs on her LinkedIn page. In 2023, Jen was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today, and was named one of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Most Influential CEOs. Most recently, Jen was appointed as a member of the AICPA's PCPS Executive Committee for the 2024-2025 volunteer service year.
