New initiative will focus on sharing knowledge of the most pressing developments in the industry.
PHILADELPHIA (January 2026) - The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), a leading statewide advocate for accounting professionals, is proud to announce that partner organization CPA Crossings (CPAx) has launched a collaboration with the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) to provide courses and certifications on the latest developments in the accounting profession to an international audience of learners.
The partnership enables members of PICPA and other CPA Crossings partner organizations to access industry-leading certifications and value-packed learning content from IMA, the most trusted name in management accounting. PICPA members can browse a catalog of courses and register for CPE learning bundles directly from the PICPA website.
“The accounting and finance profession is evolving rapidly, and we are excited to expand the opportunities available to PICPA members to support their diverse career paths and learning needs,” said PICPA CEO Jen Cryder. “Through this collaboration, we are able to offer a broad and robust range of courses and credentials, including specialized learning options that allow members to deepen their expertise, stay competitive, and advance in the directions that matter most to them.”
The collaboration brings together CPA Crossings, a trusted provider of continuing education to accounting and finance professionals, and IMA, a worldwide association of accountants and financial professionals in business. CPA Crossing’s network of distribution partners, which includes a wide range of state CPA societies, now will have access to learning opportunities from the comprehensive course catalog of both CPA Crossings and IMA.
“Whether you're in public accounting looking to transition to industry or aiming to upskill in topics most relevant for business today, this partnership gives you access to the skills and credentials that transform technical precision into strategic influence,” said IMA CEO and president Mike DePrisco.
Available courses and certifications cover such topics as AI, cybersecurity, data analytics and visualization, financial planning and analysis, robotic process automation (RPA), and sustainability. Discounted rates will be available through this collaboration, and the two organizations have committed to share industry developments with each other to continually refine their educational offerings.
