Q&A with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue
Scenario: Issues e-filing fiduciary returns
Nov 04, 2015
Scenario:
We are having issues e-filing fiduciary returns. Our software system told us that they are waiting on the DOR to have permission to e-file Pennsylvania fiduciary returns. It is our understanding that Pennsylvania is still testing products, and are not ready yet.
Q:
We would like to have some type of idea as to when and if we will be able to e-file PA41s for 2015 returns?
A:
The Department has been accepting tax year 2014 PA41 returns through the Fed/State e-file program since February, 2015. The following vendors are currently approved to file PA-41 returns electronically:
Drake Software
CCH - Small Firm Services - ATX
CCH - Small Firm Services - TrustUS
Thomson Reuters
CCH - Incorporated - ProSystem FX
The Lackner Group, Inc.
OneSource is still currently testing; however, they did not begin testing until August 12, 2015. If there is a specific vendor that the PICPA would like us to contact, please provide us with the name of the vendor and we will reach out to them.
