South Central Chapter Members Hold Phone Bank at WGAL
Twelve members of the South Central Chapter came out on Monday, March 9 to answer tax questions from viewers of WGAL 8 in Lancaster. Callers asked questions about energy tax credits, the Affordable Care Act, whether or not they needed to file, and much more. The phones rang off the hook for 90 minutes, and close to 400 callers were able to speak with a volunteer.
Steven Geisenberger spoke to consumer reporter Brian Roche about confusion around reporting requirements from the Affordable Care Act. Jude Hoar spoke about keeping your identity safe and your financial information secure when filing taxes, and Christopher Humes spoke about common questions he’s getting this tax season.
