Myles Corson

Myles Corson is a Partner in the Americas Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice of Ernst & Young LLP. Within FAAS, Corson is the Markets Leader for the practice, focused on assisting finance leaders in addressing the strategic accounting and financial reporting challenges faced by business, whether in managing the ongoing finance function or reacting to transformational events. Corson has more than 17 years of global experience, specializing in coordinating and leading multinational Fortune 500 companies through large scale accounting transformation projects. His particular areas of expertise include impact assessments for major accounting changes and developing finance and accounting solutions for clients implementing new systems and undergoing finance transformation events.

Corson has extensive knowledge of public company reporting under IFRS, including leading conversion projects and subsequent IFRS reporting for three UK FTSE250 companies. In addition, his experience includes assessing the implications of major accounting change and developing solutions for clients implementing SAP New GL and Oracle R12.

Formerly the Vice Consul for Trade and Investment, Corson was based in San Francisco for several years, representing the British Government and working with technology companies on growth and expansion plans in the UK and Europe. In addition, he has extensive corporate and capital transaction experience, advising clients on IPOs, major refinancing initiatives and significant acquisition and disposal activity.
