Lee M. Zeichner
President

Lee M. Zeichner is the Founder and President of Zeichner Risk Analytics LLC. Since his service as senior counsel to the President's Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection from 1996-1998, he has led development of cybersecurity policy and operations for both leading public and private sector clients. Mr. Zeichner has published extensively on multiple aspects of cybersecurity law and is the author of Cyber Security & Corporate Liability, a guide for corporate counsel on cybersecurity and risk management, published by LexisNexis Publishing in 2001. Mr. Zeichner is authoring his sixth update of the book, scheduled for release in 2014.

Mr. Zeichner currently consults on cybersecurity issues for the Department of Homeland Security, and has performed multiple risk assessments, including a review of the Executive Office of the President and other Federal Departments. He has served as Security Counsel for the Business Roundtable's Information and Technology Committee since 2001 and promotes cybersecurity as a member of the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Law and National Security, where he has served since 1998.

Mr. Zeichner is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center. He graduated from the University of Florida (Phi Beta Kappa) and received his M.A. in East Asian Studies from Stanford University. Mr. Zeichner is a member of multiple bar associations, including the Florida and DC Bars, the Court of International Trade, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Zeichner speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Paul Borchardt
IronGate Cyber Risk, LLC

Paul has thirty years’ experience in Information Technology, with twenty years directly in Information Security. He has successfully build and lead Information Security and Risk Management functions in fast-paced, highly regulated, highly audited, multi-client environments. Comfortable in both the board room and the datacenter, Paul brings a strong technical background and an exceptional business sense that combined, deliver balanced results addressing business requirements, regulatory demands, and risk mitigation.

Paul is the owner and principal of IronGate Cyber Risk, LLC. Founded in October 2015, IronGate provides interim and part-time CISO services, cyber advisory services, and Information Security education and awareness training.

Previously, Paul provided information security consulting services to clients in the financial services, life sciences, and telecommunications/media segments, most recently as a Senior Manager with Deloitte and Touché and before its acquisition by Deloitte in 2013, as a Vice President with Vigilant LLC. His activities have included C-suite/boardroom education and advisory, threat profiling, risk assessments, program/technology assessments, strategic planning, governance models, and operating models.

Prior to consulting, Paul was the Americas Chief Information Security Officer with BNP Paribas. Responsible for the Corporate and Investment Banking, Asset Management, and Security Services business lines of this global financial leader. Paul’s skills and diplomacy were paramount to bringing cost-effective, risk appropriate solutions that balanced the competing demands of protecting the Bank’s assets while facilitating business and technical innovation. Paul was hired to establish the Information Security organization and successfully built the function from the ground-up into one recognized as “Best of Breed” and emulated throughout the Bank.

Prior to his CISO role, Paul was Head of Networks and Information Security for CooperNeff Advisors (a BNP Paribas subsidiary) where he developed security strategies to protect intellectual property and trade secrets from internal and external threats. Additionally, he managed the global networking team and successfully proposed, developed, built the disaster recovery/resiliency program. Paul’s professional career began at Villanova University where, he provided Systems and Network Engineering design and support across multiple platforms and architectures.

Paul holds a Master of Science and a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Villanova University and maintains a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Certification.

John J. Jablonski is a partner in Goldberg Segalla’s New York and Buffalo offices, where he serves as chair of the firm’s Cyber Risk and Information Governance Practice Groups.  He is a frequent presenter and author on data security and privacy.  He is the author of 7 Steps for Litigation Holds of ESI and Other Documents (ARMA 2009).  John focuses his practice on counselling client on information governance, data security and privacy including policies, procedures, assessments, opinions, IT governance.  He drafts contract terms, security and privacy addendums and negotiates technology contracts and advises clients on responding to regulatory and third-party security and privacy audits.
