Frank Ryan is Chairman of a management consulting firm in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, specializing in turnarounds, workouts, crisis management, strategic planning and working capital management. He has extensive experience working with banks in negotiating forbearance agreements, loan workouts, capital restructurings, vendor negotiations, and bank lending requirements. 

Prior to his consulting business, Mr. Ryan was the chief operating officer of a mid-sized manufacturing company. Additionally, he is the chairman of the Audit Committees of publicly traded companies and has extensive board level experience in the for-profit and non-profit arenas. He also serves on the board of a publicly traded bank. He is a retired Colonel in the United States Marine Corps, and has served in numerous contingency operations to include Haiti, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He received the “Outstanding AICPA Instructor” award in 1994-95 and again consecutively from 2005 to 2015.

Matthew is the President of a turnaround management consulting firm specializing in crisis management, strategic and operational planning and risk analysis, and due diligence research for companies ranging from manufacturing start-ups to established service organizations. In addition to his consulting practice, Matt co-writes and teaches professional education courses for state CPA societies and private companies across the country. 

Outside of his work in consulting and professional instruction, Matt has served for over a decade in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. In 2009, he deployed to Iraq as a Company Executive Officer and Brigade Medical Logistics Officer. Still a member of the National Guard, Matt holds the rank of Captain and serves as Company Commander for a 150-soldier distribution/logistics unit.

Matthew is a part of the PICPA/Education Committee and the Treasurer of a U.S. Congressional Campaign.  He also serves as the Audit Committee Chairman for a Washington, D.C.-based educational institution, and serves on the board of a Philadelphia-based military service non-profit.
