Martin C. Levin CPA, CVA, MBA

Martin C. Levin began his accounting career in private industry in 1976.  In 1987, he joined the audit staff in the Philadelphia office of Coopers & Lybrand. Martin relocated to the Lehigh Valley and in 1995, he founded the Allentown based firm Levin, Savchak & Associates, P.C. which has since merged to form Regan Levin Bloss Brown & Savchak, P.C. (“RLB Accountants”) where he serves as the firm’s managing director and supervises the Firm’s audit, accounting business valuation and forensics practice groups.

Martin’s accounting and auditing includes working with clients in various industries including general and specialty contractors, technology firms, wholesale distribution companies, auto dealerships, manufacturing enterprises, professional services firms, mortgage brokerage firms and real estate management companies. In addition, he provides management consulting services to clients including business valuation, forensic accounting, bankruptcy accounting and expert witness testimony.

Martin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“PICPA”) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Martin currently serves on the AICPA Professional Ethics Enforcement Committee and is the president-elect of the PICPA. He has previously served on several prominent committees including a three (3) year term on the Accounting and Review Services Committee of the AICPA, the senior standard setting body responsible for developing the rules for unaudited financial statements issued in the United States. He is a past president of the PICPA - Lehigh Valley Chapter, has served on the Lehigh Valley PICPA Executive Committee and the PICPA State Council. He also served as PICPA President for the 2019-20 year.

In 2008, Martin was appointed by Governor Ed Rendell to serve on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy, where he served for 8 years under 3 governors including his role as chairman of the state licensing board for the two year period 2014-2015. Martin is a certified valuation analyst and is a member in good standing of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. He has served as an adjunct professor of accounting at DeSales University, Kutztown State University and Muhlenberg College. Martin is a member of the DeSales University President’s Council, Treasurer of the Carson Kaye Foundation and serves on various fundraising committees for nonprofit organizations. Martin has been a frequent guest lecturer at colleges and universities throughout Pennsylvania.

Martin is a summa cum laude graduate of Rowan University with a B.S. in Accounting and earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from DeSales University. He holds licenses to practice as a certified public accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Florida. Martin and his wife reside in the Lehigh Valley.

Peter N. Calcara, CAE

Peter joined the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) in 1999. Prior to that he was the vice president of government and industry affairs for the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. From 1986 to 1991, he was a legislative
assistant in the Pennsylvania Senate.

Peter is responsible for developing and implementing legislative strategy, lobbying state government, and overseeing PICPA’s political action committee and Key Person programs. Peter was instrumental in the passage of the 2011 Fair Share Act, landmark legislation that reforms how damages are recovered in civil lawsuits. More recently, Peter and his team spearheaded efforts to reform Pennsylvania’s archaic tax appeals process by reorganizing the Board of Finance and Revenue (Act 52 of 2013). Peter was also instrumental in repealing the Corporate Loans Tax (Act 71 of 2013) and in enacting a general experience requirement for CPA licensure in Pennsylvania (Act 15 of 2013).

In 2011, Peter earned his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). The CAE program is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and designate association professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of association management. Peter is a 1986 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania. He is a past president of the Pennsylvania Association for Government Relations (PAGR) and is a member of the ASAE. Peter lives in Mechanicsburg, Pa., with his wife, Nancy, and their three daughters.

Rep. Bradford proudly represents the citizens of central Montgomery County, while serving in Democratic leadership as chair of the House Appropriations Committee. As chair, Matt is committed to ensuring taxpayer dollars are invested and used responsibly in the state budget to provide the best quality of life for all Pennsylvanians. Prior to being elected by his peers as Appropriations Chair, Matt served for two years as chair of the House State Government Committee and spent eight years as a member of the Appropriations Committee, where he became known for pushing back against harsh cuts to public education funding, advocating for good, family-sustaining jobs and high quality healthcare. As a father of four, Matt has seen first-hand the vitally important role a school plays in shaping children’s lives, and has dedicated his work as an elected official to ensuring all kids have access to high-quality public schools.
In addition to serving in the General Assembly, Matt is of counsel at a municipal law firm and continues to assist local public officials in confronting the pressing policy issues that impact hardworking Pennsylvanians.
