Erie Chapter Joint Meeting of CPAs and Bankers

John Persinger is the first CEO of the Erie Downtown Development Corporation. The organization was formed by community leaders in 2017 to revitalize downtown Erie through property development. Since taking on this role, the EDDC has been featured by the White House, the Wall Street Journal, and Forbes, and Persinger has testified before Congress. Prior to joining the EDDC, Persinger worked as an attorney with MacDonald Illig Jones & Britton. Before law school, he served in the White House and at the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, Australia. He is a graduate of Harvard and Notre Dame Law School and is married to Sarah Smiles Persinger. They are the proud parents of two daughters and one son.
