Ms. Dempsey has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1987. Her formal accounting experience began as an Auditor and Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service. After gaining eight years of experience with the IRS, she left to go into public accounting. Ms. Dempsey worked for a small firm in Bala Cynwyd, PA for two years. In 1985, she began her own tax practice, which consisted of individuals and small businesses in a variety of industries. In September, 1996, Ms. Dempsey merged her practice with Mathieson Aitken Jemison, LLP who merged with LarsonAllen LLP in January, 2001. On January 2, 2012, the firm merged with Clifton Gunderston to become CliftonLarsonAllen. Ms. Dempsey currently manages the SALT Practice for the firm in the Philadelphia Area Office.
