Michael is the President of Breon & Associates PC which provides traditional accounting, auditing, and tax services in addition to specializing in fraud investigation, prevention, detection, litigation support, risk, compliance, and ethics. Mike has over 20 years’ experience providing the aforementioned services while holding positions at major public accounting firms and Fortune 500 companies. Before starting Breon & Associates PC, he was the Senior Director of Investigations & Ethics at Rite Aid located in Camp Hill, PA. Mike is a full time Professor of Accounting at Bloomsburg University and is heavily involved in the University’s Fraud Examination minor. He is also a frequent speaker at professional organizations covering topics such as fraud, investigation, internal audit, risk, and ethics.

Mike is a certified public accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He holds his undergraduate degree in Accounting and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University Capital Campus. Mike is also the founder of Pertrolance LLC & Fraud.global LLC, organizations dedicated to fighting fraud, waste and abuse and providing related services to organizations and law firms.
