PICPA is excited to offer a dynamic 4-part workshop series led by Mackey Smith. This series is crafted for Middle Managers and Partners dedicated to enhancing employee retention. Thursday, May 22nd
Session 1: Training and Development 

Learn the importance of training, structured coaching, and mentoring for younger staff, including onboarding best practices and tools, and how to implement successful coaching and training.

Thursday June 26th
Session 2: Work Culture 

Learn how to maintain a positive work culture and clear communication with staff. Adopt a uniform approach to define and uphold core values. Dive into potential culture changes due to generational differences in the workplace, including impact on evolving etiquette, and the continuing need for soft skills.

Tuesday, July 29th
Session 3: Work-Life Balance 

Learn the importance of work-life balance when competing with private industry. This session includes techniques for helping steer staff toward self-fulfillment and how to integrate work and personal lives. It will also touch on go-to stress relievers, including breathing techniques and mindfulness.

Thursday August 14th 
Session 4: Wrap up Session 

As the fourth and final session, this workshop will recap and build on the previous three sessions, and dive into the roles leaders can play in facilitating our team members’ pursuit of reaching their full potential.
