Starting out as an educator in the mid 1990’s, Tammy saw the growing technology proficiency gap with her students coming out of University. Looking to understand how businesses were managing this gap, it became clear that they were implementing new technology quicker than their employees could keep up with the changes.
Using her Masters in Education, Tammy wanted to better prepare and transition people through the changes that technology created. She started working with Deloitte Consulting to build better learning and change management programs for Fortune 500 companies that were implementing transformational technology. As her experience and expertise evolved, Tammy became Deloitte’s Technology Practice Learning Leader for North America where she led the learning strategy for all technology consultants in the US and Canada.
Tammy joined Luxottica Group next, where she led learning and change management strategy across the North American businesses of Insurance, Retail Brands, Doctors and Manufacturing. There, she implemented LensCrafters University, the first of its kind leadership development program, created Luxottica's first change management approach, and spearheaded innovative digital learning strategies that measurably improved store performance and employee engagement.
Tammy now consults, builds innovative programs with impact, and speaks on change management, leadership development, and culture shift. She simplifies the complex process of managing yourself and others through any kind of change and truly believes that improving the “people” experience has exponential benefits to both employees and the business.
