Pennsylvania CPAs are required to obtain a minimum of four hours of ethics credits biennially. If you’re lucky enough to also hold the certified fraud examiner (CFE) credential, you’re required to obtain two more ethics credits each year. If you are a CFE looking for great and dependable ethics resources, the PICPA is right for you. Here are a few reasons why:
- It’s Matt Ryan!
Matt is one of the PICPA’s top-ranked discussion leaders. He offers real-life examples and keeps the classroom alive with short videos and an interactive approach … not to mention his mad baking skills. Matt is known to test his baking skills on his students. Now that’s a test that anyone would want to take! To find his courses and some great brownies, use PICPA course search and select Matt Ryan in the instructor drop-down menu. - It’s Required, but You’re in Control
In accordance with the ACFE Code of Professional Ethics, CFEs are required to take two hours of ethics-related CPE each year. We’ve made it nice and easy for you. This year you can even take a webinar on July 20. If that day doesn’t work for you, we will be taping the webinar and making it available in our on-demand library. You’re in control! - Just Do It
Think how much easier your year-end work will be knowing that you’ve taken the time to comply with your credential requirements. It’s no fun when you’re trying to jam in holiday shopping with professional education management. Thankfully, the annual ethics requirement for CFEs is a short two hours.

Today, every second is precious. People’s lives are busier and more hectic than they ever anticipated. So go ahead, register for the course, and if you can’t make it, the on-demand version will be waiting for you when you’re ready.
