Pennsylvania Department of Revenue
Jane is a Revenue Fiscal Analyst Supervisor with the Department of Revenue’s
Pass Through Business Office. She is involved in the enforcement of
Pennsylvania’s tax requirements for pass through entities, their owners,
individuals and beneficiaries. She also is involved with identifying
non-filers, under-reporters and abusive and illegal tax avoidance
transactions.
Jane is a Certified Public Accountant. She joined the Department of Revenue
in 2010. Prior to joining the Department, she had over twelve years of public
accounting experience having worked at a local public accounting firm. There she
was responsible for managing the compliance for pass through entities,
individuals and nonprofits as well as preparing and teaching educational
sessions for staff and clients.
She has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration from
Shippensburg University where she had a dual major of accounting and economics.
She also has a Master of Taxation from Villanova University.

Ken is the
Program Administrator of the Sales and Use/PIT Division of the Bureau of Audits,
and is responsible for establishing audit policies and procedures, audit
selection, auditor training, quality control, and field audit support for the
following field audit programs: Sales and Use Tax, Public Transportation
Assistance Taxes and Fees, Vehicle Rental Tax, and Employer Withholding of
Pennsylvania Personal Income.
Ken has been with the Department
of Revenue for twenty-six years, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration – Accounting from Shippensburg University, and is a Certified
Public Accountant.
Jeffery Snavely

Jeffery S. Snavely, Esq. Deputy Chief Counsel PA Department of

Mr. Snavely is Deputy Chief
Counsel to the Department of Revenue. He has supervisory responsibilities
in the sales and use tax, tax credits, legislative and regulatory areas.
Mr. Snavely previously served as Chief Counsel on three different
occasions. From 1996 to 2001, he was in private practice with the State
Tax Consulting Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Philadelphia. Mr.
Snavely received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Shippensburg University and a
Juris Doctor degree from The Dickinson School of Law. He is a frequent
speaker on Pennsylvania sales and use tax at various forums and
seminars.
