Accounting Career Days

The Pennsylvania CPA Foundation's Accounting Career Day events are engaging and interactive programs meant to inspire high school students about careers in accounting. Held on four Pennsylvania college campuses, the events attracted nearly 1,000 attendees this year. When surveyed, 66% of participants left considering an accounting major, and nearly half are now thinking about a future career as a CPA.

Attendees Are Saying

The "state of the union" information regarding the PICPA and the industry as a whole was very interesting. The emphasis on the soft skills important for success was very telling, and the exercises were very enjoyable.

This event has given me a different perspective on the field of accounting, and its room for growth as a career.
