Much has changed in the years since the PICPA launched the Pennsylvania CPA Foundation. Our new brand reflects our future-focused approach to these changes, ensuring that we are not just keeping up, but also leading the way.

The Pennsylvania CPA Foundation’s mission has been clear since its inception: to inspire students to pursue careers in accounting and to provide educational, motivational, and financial support to those working to attain the CPA credential. Much has changed in the years since the PICPA launched the Foundation. The accounting landscape is transforming rapidly, with new technologies, regulations, and opportunities emerging daily. Our new brand reflects our future-focused approach to these changes, ensuring that we are not just keeping up, but also leading the way.
The Foundation was established in 2017 to expand the reach of our existing student programming and engage more PICPA members and stakeholders in our efforts. To date, we’ve had nearly 2,700 members and firms make financial contributions to the Foundation, with thousands more participating in programs and volunteering their time to engage with students across the state. We’ve extended our resources to create a network of opportunities for all students and educators to get involved either in-person or virtually. Our team has worked hard to develop new initiatives that offer increasingly more pathways and opportunities to obtain a CPA license.
We’re doing more than ever to reach future CPAs, including ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds have access to the information and support they need to pursue a career in accounting. Most importantly, we’re advocating for the profession at every level by working with schools, employers, and legislators to create a brighter future for accounting in Pennsylvania.

This rebranding marks the beginning of an exciting era where we can amplify our impact and extend our reach together. There’s never been a better time to be a CPA, and there’s never been a more important time to consider how you can help inspire the next generation of CPAs.
