This fall, the PICPA launched a new Career Center to connect its members with the resources and content they need to help them excel professionally. Organized by career stage, the Career Center features an array of programs, blogs, podcasts, and professional development opportunities exclusive to PICPA members.
To point members to the resources they’re looking for, the Career Center is divided into six categories representing different stages that a CPA might be in their career. The career stages include:
Once you navigate to your career level, you’ll find a suite of relevant articles that offer guidance on reaching the next phase of your professional life. You will also see a variety of exclusive member benefits to help you get there.
Students and young professionals are encouraged to check out the CPA Exam resources. Those in the middle of their careers are welcome to submit their résumé for review via TopResume or sign up for the Mentor Match program. Experienced CPAs can make use of succession planning guidance from Transition Advisors. All these offers, among many others, have been designed to help PICPA members gain a competitive edge as they seek to advance to the next level of their career.
Among the key features of the Career Center is PICPA’s job board. Whether you’re looking to apply for your next role or just want to browse the opportunities that are currently available, the job board allows you to search by location, position type, company, level of experience, and salary.
PICPA members looking to post open positions at their firm or company will receive exclusive discounts on available packages. There are also additional discounts for firms participating in PICPA’s Firm-Sponsored Membership program and PICPA’s Firm Alliance.
PICPA’s Career Center will be regularly updated with new content and resources for our members’ benefit, so be sure to check back often.
