Accounting Scholarships & Awards

The Pennsylvania CPA Foundation helps future CPAs reach their goals through scholarships and awards. $150,000 in scholarships will be awarded in 2019!

Scholarship applications will open in January 2019.

Four applications will be available: academic merit, minority, community college, and high school.

See below for further details and requirements for each scholarship category.

Academic Merit Scholarship

  • Are you a full-time accounting student attending a Pennsylvania college or university?
  • Have you completed intermediate accounting?
  • Have you earned 45 credits and a minimum GPA of 3.4?
Minority Scholarship

  • Are you a full-time accounting student attending a Pennsylvania college or university?
  • Are you an ethnic minority?
  • Have you earned 30 credits and a minimum GPA of 3.0?
Community College Scholarship

  • Are you attending a two-year community or junior college in Pennsylvania?
  • Do you intend to transfer with a major in accounting?
  • Have you earned a minimum GPA of 3.0?
High School Scholarship

  • Are you a senior attending a Pennsylvania high school?
  • Are you interested in studying accounting in college?

CPA Exam Scholarships

Earn a $500 scholarship to support costs that come with preparing for and passing the CPA Exam.

Application windows are April 1–June 30 and Oct. 1–Nov. 30, 2018.

Outstanding Senior Award

One senior accounting major at each Pennsylvania college offering an accounting degree is selected by college faculty for this prestigious award.
